Dr. Blakley earned her physical therapy doctoral degree in 2012 from Hardin-Simmons University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Psychology from the University at Albany. She has over 12 years of experience treating a variety of injuries including orthopedic, sports, concussions, visceral and a myriad of other conditions. She is also an instructor for the Fascial Distortion Model which specializes in treating all soft tissue and musculoskeletal complaints quickly to return athletes/patients to their sports quickly. She has additional skills in treating concussions, migraines and TMJ through the use of Craniosacral techniques as well as Visceral Mobilization which can all impact the way the body moves and responds to healing. Ashlee was a former Division 1 volleyball player and has suffered through multiple injuries herself throughout her athletic career which led her to pursue physical therapy as her profession. In addition to her work, she is a mother of two young kids and happily married to her husband Josh. When they are not at a sporting event, they love to spend time outside finding the nearest playground.

Dr. Ponce, founder of The Movement Doc of Texas, earned her Physical Therapy doctoral degree in 2013 from Texas State University. She also obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Foods and Sciences. With over 11 years of experience, Dr. Ponce has treated solely in the orthopedic environment. In 2020, she completed a three-year fellowship and earned the designated credentials of FAAOMPT from OPTIM Manual Therapy. A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist (FAAOMPT) is a physical therapist who is internationally recognized for demonstrating advanced orthopedic knowledge, analytical skills, and advanced manual therapy techniques in the treatment of musculoskeletal orthopedic conditions. In July 2022, Dr. Ponce also obtained the credentials as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Attainment of both FAAOMPT and OCS status is an achievement earned by less than 1% of all Physical Therapists in the US. She is also certified in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.
